Shatter Me and Unravel Me have been sitting on my TBR shelf for at least a year. I decided when I first bought them that I wouldn’t read the series until I owned the whole series. Hence why it’s been so long.
Now, truthfully, I didn’t live up to that promise as I still only own the first two books. However, I will be buying the last ones soon and I just thought that a year was long enough for me to wait to read these books.
Honestly, the style of writing is a bit difficult to get used to. The lack of commas being a bit annoying, however, as I’m getting further into the story (which I’m enjoying a lot) I’m hoping I’m getting more used to it. It’s a very hectic style of writing that suits Juliettes character, I really do feel as on edge as she does when I’m reading.
The characters are interesting and I’m very intrigued to see where this story is going. I’m only up to chapter 23 and there’s still a lot of unanswered questions, for instance, the time period (I know it’s the future but how far into the future?!) and the location (I’m assuming it’s America?)
Anyway, I’m enjoying it so far, I’ll get back to you if anything changes.
Final note: 4/5 stars for that shower scene.
